2009 Warm-up 1/8 On-Road World Championship

June 26-28, 2009, Lostallo, Switzerland

The warm-up race for this years 1/8th scale World Championship in Lostallo, Switzerland, was held from June 26th to 28th.  The competitive starting list was completed by a lot of fast drivers from Japan, USA, and Europe.
Mugen's Robert Pietsch from Germany took the TQ honors with 2.6 seconds ahead of his teammate Andrea Pirani.
The third spot went to Albert Picco, another 3.5 seconds back.  A clear triple success for the MRX-4X after qualifications.

Grand final:

After the start of the 60 minutes final, it was a close battle between Robert Pietsch and Alberto Picco.  After an engine stop from Robert, the Italian could clear away out front, followed by Takaaki Shimo in second, while Mark Green worked his way up to third.
