starting from this year by JMRCA as Japan championship. |
| There is two class which is "Sorts" and
"Open" class. The qualification for "Sports"
class will be |
| the driver who dose not have winning experience (higher
than 10th ranking) within the past five years |
| (from 1998-2002 for this year) at the Japan
championship by JMRCA including all the categories. |
| 81 drivers who qualified the district qualification (11
district in Japan) was joined this championship. |
| 53 drivers used Mugen MTX-3 for this championship. |
| 1:10 Touring Car Japan Championship "Open
Class" will be held from Oct 18-19 at Hokusei Circuit. |
